My Credentials:
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a BSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I am an active member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). My integrative approach allows me to draw from a range of therapeutic models, tailoring sessions to meet each client’s individual needs.
I have completed extensive training in addiction and specialist training in suicide postvention. Clinically, I have significant experience supporting clients with anxiety, phobias, OCD, and depression. I also work with individuals experiencing work-related stress, burnout, and challenges with maintaining a healthy work–life balance.
I am particularly skilled at exploring and working through family and interpersonal dynamics, helping clients understand their relational patterns and how these influence their emotional wellbeing. I am currently expanding my knowledge and training in couples therapy, deepening my ability to support relationships in distress.
My Approach:
What shapes my work most is my deep appreciation for cultural diversity and the importance of meeting each client as a unique individual. Having lived in and been closely connected to Italian, West African, British, and Irish cultures, I bring a rich understanding of diverse perspectives into the therapy room. This allows me to offer a sensitive, inclusive, and welcoming space for people from all backgrounds.
I offer individual counselling and psychotherapy sessions using an integrative approach drawing from therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, and Humanistic approaches. Each person’s story is different, and I tailor my work to reflect your specific needs and goals.
In addition to long-term therapy, I also provide short-term counselling, which can be particularly helpful for those navigating specific challenges, transitions, or periods of heightened stress such as workplace difficulties, career changes, or personal crises. Short-term therapy can be deeply meaningful and focused, offering clarity, coping tools, and renewed balance.
I work with a range of issues including anxiety, OCD, depression, phobias, addiction, family dynamics, workplace stress, burnout, and life transitions. I am also expanding my training in couples therapy to better support relationships and communication.
Therapy is available in both English and Italian, and my goal is to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental environment where you feel seen, supported, and empowered. I believe everyone has the inner strength to grow through life’s challenges, and I’m here to walk alongside you on that journey.
About Me:
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy exploring new ideas and broadening my cultural experiences. I’m an avid reader, particularly of novels that offer insight into human nature and diverse perspectives. I also love travelling, connecting with people from different backgrounds, and learning from their unique stories and ways of life.
Maintaining balance is an important value in my own life. I make time for creativity, self-expression, and relaxation whether through cooking, art, or discovering new hobbies. I believe in nurturing both mind and body to sustain wellbeing, and I bring that holistic mindset into my therapeutic work.
Summary:
