I am a Psychologist registered with NIP (Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen) in the Netherlands. I currently work as a therapist at a basic GGZ centre in The Hague, while also seeing clients independently, both in person and online, as I aspire to build my own private practice. I am also in training in Integrative Psychotherapy, which enables me to combine interventions from different approaches such as Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Meditation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Schema Therapy.
My professional path began in Greece, where I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and first gained clinical experience during my internship. Those early sessions revealed the profound impact of the therapeutic relationship and confirmed my passion for Clinical Psychology. I continued my studies in the UK, where I deepened my knowledge of Psychoanalysis and the importance of self-awareness in effective therapy, and later in the Netherlands, where I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
Alongside my studies, I engaged in voluntary initiatives, internships, seminars, and additional trainings, always seeking to expand my skills and understanding of human nature. Continuous clinical work with clients has helped me to cultivate empathy, refine my therapeutic techniques, and reaffirm my belief that genuine human connection lies at the heart of meaningful change. My own personal therapy has also been an important part of this journey, supporting my growth as both a person and a professional.
For me, being a Psychologist is not just a profession—it is a meaningful opportunity to accompany people on their journey toward a more authentic and fulfilling life. Therapy is a shared path of self-discovery, where compassion, acceptance, and safety allow growth to unfold.
Over the years I have broadened my training in various psychological approaches, and I see education as a lifelong process. I draw from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness and Meditation techniques.
At the centre of my practice is the therapeutic relationship. I aim to create a safe, trusting environment characterised by empathy, authenticity, and acceptance. Within this space, clients and I embark on a collaborative journey of self-exploration and growth.
I adapt therapy to each client’s unique needs, background, and goals, tailoring the process to support their personal journey. My current training in Integrative Psychotherapy further strengthens this flexibility, enabling me to combine approaches to suit each individual.
Above all, my practice is grounded in collaboration, respect, confidentiality, and authenticity—principles that guide my therapeutic identity.
Having lived as an expat in both the UK and the Netherlands, I understand the challenges of adjusting to life in another country. My own journey has shaped my approach: I work with openness, empathy, and an appreciation of the struggles and opportunities of living abroad. I bring this perspective into my work, especially with expats, to create a space where clients feel understood and supported.
I am an English-speaking therapist based in The Hague, currently training in Integrative Psychotherapy, and I work with adults in both online and in-person settings.
