My Credentials:

I am a BACP-registered Integrative Counsellor. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology (Royal Holloway, University of London) and a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (CPCAB, Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Academy). I also have a PGDip in Marketing. I am constantly evolving my skills through further training and I am currently working towards a Diploma in CBT. I am fully insured with Holistic Insurance, DBS checked and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

My Approach:

I work with adults in the UK and internationally, offering counselling in-person in Hackney and online. My approach is flexible and accessible, tailored to suit individual needs and circumstances. As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities, including person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy. This allows me to adapt my client-led, non-directive approach to best support each person’s unique journey. My practice follows the Petruska Clarkson 5 relational integration framework, placing the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the healing process. I believe that every client is unique and an expert in their own life experiences. My role is to listen, provide a confidential space to process emotions and experiences, and collaboratively support each person to move forward in a direction that feels right for them.

About Me:

I have several years of experience working in the voluntary sector, supporting people recovering from severe mental health challenges, along with their families and carers. My work has included offering in-person guidance, facilitating support groups, and providing support and advice over the phone. I have also worked in various roles with children and young people’s charities. This work has deepened my understanding of advocacy and support, particularly around early childhood development, youth participation, parenting, and special educational needs and disabilities. Alongside my private practice I work with a specialist mental health charity, offering in-person trauma-informed counselling to women who have experienced domestic abuse or abusive relationships. Overall, I have supported diverse populations dealing with mental health issues, parenting and caregiving challenges, depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, low confidence and self-esteem, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, trauma, bereavement, loneliness, and feelings of being “stuck.”

Summary:

I work with adults, offering therapy in English and Greek, both in-person in Hackney and online, integrating various modalities to suit individual needs and preferences. Some of the issues I can help with include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, low confidence, trauma, and life transitions. I offer a warm, safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel empowered to explore their inner world, uncover solutions, and grow in self-awareness. I believe that the answers lie within us all, and the therapeutic journey helps illuminate the path toward healing and transformation.
