I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a specialization in Family Systems Therapy. My clinical practice is grounded in an integrative approach, supported by advanced training in Trauma Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Practices, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I have developed particular expertise in body-mind integration techniques, which I use to facilitate deep emotional healing and resilience.
Over the past five years, I have worked extensively with individuals, couples, and families, drawing from a culturally sensitive framework that honors the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client. In addition to my private practice, I am a proud member of SAPMEX, a service dedicated to providing psychological support to children exposed to gender-based violence.
My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care, with a strong emphasis on EMDR and Somatic Practices. I believe that every person carries a unique story, shaped by their relationships, experiences, and cultural background. My work focuses on helping clients understand and transform these narratives in a safe and supportive environment. Through EMDR, I assist clients in processing traumatic experiences by targeting unprocessed memories that may be affecting their present lives. This technique, combined with somatic awareness and body-based interventions, helps release stored trauma, regulate emotions, and foster a deeper connection between mind and body. In my sessions, I integrate various therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual’s needs, guiding them toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and empowerment. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, my goal is to facilitate deep, lasting change through a holistic and compassionate approach.
I have always been fascinated by human connection and the ways in which our environment, culture, and personal history shape who we are. Having lived and traveled across many countries, I have gained a deep appreciation for different cultures and how they influence our sense of identity and well-being. This multicultural perspective allows me to approach therapy with an open mind and a deep respect for each client’s unique background and context.
Beyond my professional journey, I have also walked a parallel path of personal growth, which I consider one of my greatest assets as a therapist. The insights I have gained through my own self-exploration enable me to connect with my clients in an authentic and empathetic way, creating a space where transformation can truly happen.
Outside of my practice, I am passionate about contemporary dance, rock climbing, and organic gardening. Movement and nature play an essential role in my life, reminding me of the beauty of presence, resilience, and continuous learning. If you are seeking a therapeutic space that honors your story, values the connection between mind and body, and embraces a holistic perspective on healing, I would love to support you on your journey. Feel free to reach out—let’s start this process together.
