I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Clinical Psychology, and I am currently in training in Gestalt therapy. Additionally, I have completed specialized training in Dance Therapy, which enriches my therapeutic approach with a deep awareness of the mind-body connection.
For the past two years, I have been working as a freelance psychologist, supporting both adults and children/adolescents through their personal challenges. My work has given me the privilege of accompanying people from diverse backgrounds on their journeys of self-discovery and healing. My areas of specialty include relationships, whether straight, queer, or polyamorous, as well as attachment-related challenges. I also work with clients dealing with chronic illness, self-esteem issues, depression, anxiety, and neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism.
I take a holistic and eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from different methodologies to tailor my support to each client’s unique needs. My own experience of receiving therapy has given me an additional layer of insight into the therapeutic process—its transformative potential, as well as its challenges. Being an expat myself, I deeply understand the complexities of navigating life in a foreign country, the challenges, uncertainties, and adjustments, but also the growth, resilience, and richness that come with this experience. This understanding is at the core of my work, and I aim to create a space where expats and locals alike feel truly seen and understood.
As a clinical psychologist and Gestalt psychotherapist, I am committed to fostering a therapeutic space that is warm, empathetic, and inclusive. My priority is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. I believe that each person’s journey is unique, and my role is to walk alongside you, helping you connect with your authentic self.
My approach is embodied and holistic, encouraging you to turn inward and connect with your physical sensations and emotions. Therapy is not just about talking—it is about experiencing, feeling, and being present. By increasing self-awareness and self-acceptance, we can explore patterns, beliefs, and emotions that may be holding you back. Together, we will work towards a greater sense of balance, resilience, and self-trust.
I believe that healing happens within a relationship—a space of trust, openness, and genuine connection. That is why I take the time to meet each client where they are and to honor their lived experiences. Whether you are struggling with relationships, identity, past wounds, or present challenges, I will support you in navigating your path with greater clarity and self-compassion.
Outside of my work, I try to maintain a mindful and active lifestyle. I love yoga, dancing, reading, and hiking, all of which help me stay connected to myself and my surroundings. Movement, in particular, has been a grounding and expressive force in my life—something I bring into my work when helpful for my clients.
I am an English and Greek-speaking Psychologist and Psychotherapist in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), offering both online and in-person therapy to children, teenagers adults, families and couples. I am an expat psychologist with a passion for warmth, acceptance, and empowerment. My goal is to help you develop self-awareness, resilience, and agency, so that you can move toward personal growth and a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you.
