Credentials:

I am a HCPC-registered Forensic Psychologist with specialist training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), a powerful, evidence-based approach for processing trauma and emotionally overwhelming experiences. I have over a decade of experience supporting individuals with complex trauma, mental health difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and long-standing relational difficulties.

My background includes working in complex clinical and forensic settings, supporting clients who have experienced significant adversity, interpersonal trauma, or system involvement. I now work privately with adults seeking meaningful, long-term change in how they feel, relate, and understand themselves.

My Approach:

My work is grounded in compassion, respect, and collaboration. I take a trauma-informed, client-centred approach, which means I tailor therapy to your pace, needs, and values. Whether you’re processing trauma, navigating cultural adjustment, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed, I provide a safe and non-judgemental space to explore what’s going on beneath the surface.

I specialise in EMDR, a powerful therapeutic approach that helps the brain reprocess distressing experiences, reducing their emotional charge and allowing healing to happen. EMDR can be life-changing not only for PTSD, but also for individuals dealing with anxiety, low self-worth, grief, relationship difficulties, phobias, the impact of childhood or relational trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.

Alongside EMDR, I’m also trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), which I integrate when helpful to support emotion regulation, self-compassion, and resilience.

I believe therapy should feel safe, empowering, and collaborative, especially if you’ve experienced harm, judgement, or power imbalances in the past.

About Me:

I am an English-speaking HCPC-registered Psychologist in Manchester, UK, offering online-only therapy sessions to adults from all over the world.

Having lived abroad for 16 years across Asia and the Middle East, I understand the emotional complexities of being an expat. Identity shifts, isolation, cultural transitions, and the sense of being “in-between” can leave us feeling disconnected or emotionally stuck.

Whether you’re living overseas, recently relocated, or struggling with unresolved experiences from your time abroad, I offer therapy that honours your cross-cultural experience and provides space for healing and reconnection.

Summary:

I am an HCPC-registered Forensic Psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting adults through complex trauma, emotional difficulties, and long-standing relational challenges. I specialise in EMDR therapy and integrate approaches like DBT and CFT to offer personalised, trauma-informed care. My practice is grounded in compassion and collaboration, providing a safe, non-judgemental space for healing and meaningful change. I offer online sessions to clients worldwide, drawing on both clinical expertise and my own experience of living abroad.
