I am a registered Forensic Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), UK, and a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychology Board.
During my 15-year career, I have worked in the UK and New Zealand across a variety of settings, including adult mental health hospitals, child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS), and private practice. I also have experience of providing psychological assessments and interventions in British Sign Language (BSL). I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
I have had the privilege of supporting individuals on their journey to wellness, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation/impulsivity, school refusal, challenging behaviours, psychosis, eating disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociation. I have experience in assessing neurodiversity in adults and adolescents, and in providing interventions to support the mental and emotional wellbeing of these individuals and their families.
I value the importance of building strong therapeutic relationships with clients and their families. I work collaboratively with you to formulate and identify treatment goals, while being responsive to your individual and cultural needs.
When treating children and adolescents, I aim to support the family system by working closely with parents and caregivers to enhance the child or adolescent’s emotional and mental wellbeing.
I provide a trauma-informed approach, using a range of evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to meet your unique needs, ensuring that therapy is both effective and meaningful.
I am an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Practitioner, a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Therapist, and a Family-Based Treatment (FBT) Therapist for Eating Disorders. I also use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with individuals and work with parents to reduce their child’s anxiety. Additionally, I integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies into my practice.
I am originally from the UK and lived in Aotearoa, New Zealand between 2016-2025, where I met my Argentinian partner. I continue to experience the joys of migration and the complexities of navigating life as a migrant.
