I am a BACP Registered Therapist, having trained at the Psychosynthesis Trust in London. This training is rooted in psychodynamic theory, with a strong emphasis on the transpersonal—an approach that goes beyond the individual ego to consider the spiritual and philosophical dimensions of human experience. The Psychosynthesis model integrates depth psychology with an openness to the more soulful and mysterious aspects of life. In addition to my therapeutic training, I hold a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Amsterdam, which has given me a solid foundation in existential thought, metaphysics, and many of life’s biggest and most enduring questions. This combination of psychotherapy and philosophy informs my way of working and the depth of inquiry I bring to sessions.
My approach is fundamentally relational. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is central to the therapeutic process. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. From this foundation, meaningful exploration and change can emerge. My background in Psychosynthesis means that I work with the full range of human experience—mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. I listen deeply, and while I may offer guidance or reflections, I ensure that the session is primarily a space for you to speak and be met where you are. I work psychodynamically, which means exploring how past experiences—especially early relationships—may be shaping your current patterns and inner world. But I also draw from existential and transpersonal perspectives, inviting reflection on purpose, meaning, and the larger arc of your life.
In addition to my work as a therapist, I am also a Contributing Editor at the Institute of Art and Ideas and its philosophy and music festival, HowTheLightGetsIn—the world’s largest event of its kind. This role allows me to stay connected to cutting-edge philosophical ideas, conversations, and thinkers, which continually inspire and inform my work as a therapist. I have a strong personal interest in the field of psychedelic-assisted therapy and the emerging dialogues between therapy, philosophy, and spirituality. I’m particularly drawn to questions such as: Why are we here? What gives life meaning? How can we live in alignment with our deeper values? I also engage with practices like meditation and other contemplative or spiritual traditions, not only as personal tools for growth but also as resources that can sometimes be helpful for clients interested in those areas.
I am an English-speaking therapist based in Madrid, Spain, offering online or phone individual therapy sessions to adults.
I offer a warm, thoughtful, and deeply attentive space for exploration and healing. My approach is rooted in psychosynthesis, a psychodynamic modality that integrates psychological and spiritual dimensions. My academic background in philosophy further enriches the way I work, allowing me to engage with life’s deeper questions when relevant. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, existential concerns, or simply seeking a space to better understand yourself, I aim to support you with care, curiosity, and respect. I’m happy to work with whatever challenges or themes you bring, and I will always do my best to help in whatever way I can.
