My Approach:

My approach to counselling is empathetic, client-centred, and trauma-informed. I believe that emotional pain often stems from unresolved early experiences, and my role is to journey with you to uncover, process, and gently heal these wounds. I work with evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Brainspotting, the Gottman Method, and Mindfulness-Based strategies, tailoring each intervention to your needs.

I specialise in working with childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, parenting concerns, and relationship difficulties. My sessions are safe spaces where we focus not only on managing symptoms but understanding root causes, building resilience, and empowering long-term change.

Whether you’re navigating personal crises, emotional fatigue, or relationship struggles, I work alongside you to regain clarity, foster self-worth, and restore connection with yourself and others.

About Me:

My counselling journey was born from deeply personal roots. As a survivor of abuse, trauma, bullying, and learning difficulties, I intimately understand the impact these struggles can have on one’s identity and mental health. Initially drawn to the field of education, I spent years supporting students facing similar challenges—yet I soon realised that deeper healing often required a therapeutic space.

With the loving support of my husband and a faith that helped me begin my healing journey, I sought counselling myself, and the transformation I experienced became the catalyst for my career in mental health.

Over the last 20 years, I have served in a wide range of roles, including with the Ministry of Education and platforms like Talk Your Heart Out. I’ve also facilitated youth programs focused on resilience, confidence, and growth. As a mental health advocate, I’ve spoken on platforms such as OLI 96.8FM and Silver Ribbon Singapore.

Outside of work, I am a proud mother of two, a devoted wife, and a lover of cooking, travelling, and animals. These simple joys ground me and fuel my passion for helping others navigate their storms.

Summary:

I am an English-speaking counsellor in Singapore, offering both online counselling sessions to young and older children, teenagers, adults, couples and families.  In-person sessions subject to room availability.
Each session is tailored to your specific needs, grounded in a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment.

I offer trauma-informed counselling that integrates clinical knowledge with lived empathy. With over two decades of experience and a heart that resonates with pain and healing, I walk beside individuals and families through the layers of trauma, relationship struggles, anxiety, and loss. My goal is to create a space where transformation is possible and sustainable.

If you’re ready to start your healing journey, I’m here to support you.
