My Credentials:

I’m an English- and Romanian-speaking international psychologist and therapist based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

I completed my training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and Clinical Psychology in 2022 in Romania and am currently enrolled in an Art Therapy program. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. I am licensed by the Romanian Board of Psychologists in both Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

My Approach:

My therapeutic approach is integrative, evidence-based, and deeply personalized. I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapies, schema therapy, and psychodynamic models to build a strong conceptual understanding of what’s happening beneath the surface. But I also bring in creativity, imagination, and artistic tools that allow us to go beyond words.

I often integrate art therapy and expressive methods into our sessions and home practices—things like journaling, intuitive drawing, painting, creative writing, and symbolism. These activities help bypass the filters of the rational mind, making space for deeper emotions and unconscious patterns to emerge safely. Art becomes a way not only to express, but also to explore, soothe, and transform.

My clients often come to therapy with problems like anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, somatic symptoms, emotional disconnection, and self-sabotage—problems that usually stem from a history of childhood trauma or emotionally neglectful environments. In general, all the issues a dysregulated nervous system brings. Many struggle with taking on too much responsibility for others, or with feeling lonely or disconnected from themselves.

What they find in our work together is not just insight, but also tools for nervous system regulation, new ways of responding to old patterns, and a renewed connection to their own strength and self-worth.

My commitment is to always meet you where you are—to speak your language (sometimes literally, sometimes emotionally) and to find the therapeutic doorway that works for you. Therapy with me is not formulaic—it’s a co-created process, shaped around your needs, your context, and your growth.

About Me:

Before I became a psychologist, I was an artist—and in many ways, I still am. Art has always been my way of making sense of the world: a place to express, to feel, and to connect without the pressure of being “right” or “perfect.” This deep connection to creativity has naturally found its way into how I practice therapy.

I’ve always believed that people heal in the presence of empathy, safety, and curiosity. That belief—together with my natural kindness and desire to help—led me to pursue a path in psychology. Becoming a therapist felt like the most authentic extension of who I am: someone who listens deeply, who seeks to understand not just what’s on the surface, but the emotional worlds people carry underneath.

In my daily life, I’m a proud dog mom, a tropical plant enthusiast, and a forest wanderer. I find peace in nature, joy in growth (both botanical and personal), and inspiration in the small, beautiful details of life.

Working with people from all over the world, I bring an open mind and heart to every session, always considering the cultural, personal, and relational context of each person I meet. I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” therapy—because people are too complex and too unique for that.

Summary:

I am an international therapist with a warm, creative, and science-informed approach.
