Hello, I’m Sara, a licensed psychologist currently based in Bergamo, originally from Udine, a charming city in northeastern Italy.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychobiological and Cognitive Sciences (PS1082) from the University of Padova, followed by a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology for Individuals, Families, and Organizations (64-270-ENG) from Bergamo University. During my academic path, I had the valuable opportunity to explore intercultural approaches to clinical psychology, which deepened my ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds.
I specialized in working with adolescents and young adults, completing a systemic post-graduate degree.
I am a registered psychologist (section A) with the Lombardy Regional Board of Psychologists (Albo degli Psicologi della Lombardia), registration no. 24383.
Fluent in English and certified at Cambridge Advanced C1 level, I offer therapy sessions confidently and comfortably in English—ideal for English-speaking expats navigating life in Italy.
My approach to therapy is relational and systemic, grounded in the belief that healing and growth are rooted in the connections we build with ourselves, others, and our environment. I strive to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their inner world, embrace new perspectives, and develop coping strategies tailored to their unique journey.
Creativity plays a central role in my practice. I integrate symbolic tools, such as games and nature metaphors, to make therapy accessible and engaging for clients of all ages. I am a certified L1 gaming operator (CSI) and an active member of LabGDR, a professional network that uses role-playing games (RPGs) as educational and therapeutic tools.
My work spans a wide range of experiences, including:
“Un Porto per Noi” – Individual counseling, workshops, and peer support groups for adults with mood and anxiety disorders.
GDRLAB – Promoting wellbeing through RPGs with children, adolescents, and adults.
Centro Famiglia – Coordinating psychoeducational initiatives for families, educators, and youth.
I’m passionate about mountains and games, and I bring them both into my therapeutic work—symbolically and practically. Whether hiking through emotional landscapes or exploring inner worlds through imaginative play, I aim to meet each client where they are with curiosity and respect.
What I find most fulfilling in my work is connecting with people from different cultures. Working with expats allows me to bring an empathetic, culturally sensitive lens to therapy, recognizing the complexities of identity, belonging, and transition.
I am an English-speaking Psychologist based in Bergamo, Italy, offering both in-person and online sessions to teenagers, adults and couples.
If you’re an expat looking for a compassionate psychologist who understands the challenges of living abroad and offers therapy in English, I’d be honored to support you. Let’s work together to build a path toward personal growth, connection, and resilience.
