I am a licensed psychologist with degrees from two universities, one in the Republic of Belarus and another in Italy, where I completed a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Rome “La Sapienza.” I am a registered member of the Association of Italian Psychologists (N. 27195) and have specialization in Gestalt Therapy and Art Therapy. I speak Italian, English and Russian.
With over six years of experience specializing in Gestalt therapy and Mindfulness meditation, I have successfully provided both individual and group psychotherapy in private practice and online. My clinical experience was enriched through an internship at Villa Maraini, where I directly supported individuals with substance dependencies. This hands-on work in the field of addiction provided me with invaluable skills in managing complex cases and building therapeutic relationships. Additionally, I volunteered with the Red Cross during the significant influx of Ukrainian immigrants to Rome in early 2022, assisting those affected by war-induced trauma and stress. I have also facilitated empowerment groups for women, helping them regain strength and autonomy during a challenging transitional phase.
My role as an assistant in Mindfulness-based psychotherapy groups at the Gestalt Institute in Rome further expanded my expertise in holistic, body-centered approaches to mental health. I wrote neuroscientific thesis explored positive effects, focusing on how mindfulness can alleviate common psychological difficulties such as depression, anxiety, and sleep disturbances. The findings, based on experimental research, reveal that mindfulness as a cultivated state of mind leads to measurable improvements in mental health and well-being. During therapy, fostering mindfulness becomes a key element in helping individuals create meaningful changes, enabling them to break free from limiting patterns and respond to life’s challenges with greater awareness and resilience. During psychological consultations and therapy I apply mindfulness techniques that support a client in his transformative journey.
My professional journey also includes a corporate experience at ENEL in the “People and Organisation” department, where I gained insights into organizational psychology and employee well-being.
I work with individuals and couples facing emotional and relational challenges, including depression, insomnia, dependencies and anxiety. My approach is grounded in Gestalt Therapy, which emphasizes awareness, personal responsibility and growth, and the here-and-now experience. This therapeutic modality encourages clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in the present moment, fostering greater self-awareness and self-acceptance obtaining new transformative experience in secure and save environment.
In my consultations and therapeutic sessions, I utilize a body-mind integrated approach, helping my clients connect with their physical sensations and emotions. By fostering this connection, an individual can better realise their patterns of behavior and develop more authentic ways to navigate their personal journeys toward well-being.
In addition to my professional background, I have a deep passion for holistic well-being. I enjoy meditation, yoga, and tai chi, which help me cultivate mindfulness mindset and balance in my own life. I also have a keen interest in Chinese medicine and often explore its principles in relation to mental health. Nature plays a vital role in my self-care routine, and I find joy in walking and hiking, which not only enrich my physical health but also nourish my creativity.
I am an English, Russian and Italian-speaking licensed psychologist in Rome, Italy, specialised in Gestalt Therapy and Art Therapy. I offer both in-person and online sessions to older children, teenagers, adults, couples, families and groups.
