My Credentials:
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with international academic and professional experience, currently registered with the Ordine degli Psicologi del Piemonte. My training spans some countries, beginning with a degree in Psychology from the University of Algarve in Portugal. I later earned a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Turin, with a thesis focused on intercultural influences in psychological development across Brazil, Italy, and Portugal.
I am currently specializing in psychodynamic therapy and offer online psychological sessions in English, Portuguese, and Italian. I aim to support clients facing a wide range of psychological issues, including identity challenges, adjustment difficulties, and relational concerns, always with a focus on promoting insight, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
My Approach:
My clinical approach is integrative, combining the psychodynamic perspective with insights from relational clinical psychology and attachment theory. I view the therapeutic setting as a safe and collaborative space where emotions, memories, and internal conflicts can be explored with care and curiosity. This process allows us to identify ways we can work together to reduce suffering and support emotional growth. My approach integrates a psychosomatic understanding supported by contributions from neuroscience, particularly in how emotional experiences are regulated and expressed through the body.
My intention is to offer a space where each person feels seen, heard, and respected in their uniqueness. I believe in the potential for change and development at any stage of life, and in the power of a therapeutic relationship rooted in authenticity, empathy, and presence. I also consider it essential to remain aware of the social, political, and cultural contexts that influence each person’s story, integrating this awareness into a practice that is both informed and human.
About Me:
I’ve been dedicated to psychology for almost ten years now. It’s something that feels deeply meaningful to me, and I strive to stay true to that in both my personal life and my work. I believe it’s important to hold space for complexity. Life isn’t black and white, and I try to approach people and situations with empathy, curiosity, and an open mind.
Outside of work, I enjoy a simple life. I love reading, whether it’s a good book or a new article in the field of psychology. I try to stay close to nature, whether it’s going for a walk or simply spending a few minutes in the sun. Movement is key for me to stay grounded, so I also practice pilates and yoga regularly, and I enjoy trying new healthy recipes to integrate into my days.
Summary:
I am an English, Portuguese and Italian-speaking licensed clinical psychologist, registered with the Ordine degli Psicologi del Piemonte, and I offer online-only sessions for adults, couples and teenagers.
My clinical approach integrates psychodynamic principles with insights from relational and attachment-based therapies. I believe in creating a collaborative and empathetic space where we can explore emotions with care, identifying ways to reduce suffering and promote emotional growth together. My practice considers both the mind and body, supporting clients in navigating life’s challenges and fostering long-term well-being.
